Survey shows Affluent Travelers Have Increased Knowledge of Fractional Ownership
A survey conducted for holiday exchange company Interval International showed that wealthy people who place a high value on their holidays are more than twice as likely to be familiar with vacation ownership and private residence clubs than those who have no interest in resort real estate.
They see themselves as value-driven consumers who place a premium on quality and reliability, enjoy exploring interesting destinations and taking part in new experiences, the study also found.
There are 1.3 million affluent travellers in the US who are interested in resort real estate, said Peter C. Yesawich, chairman and CEO of Ypartnership, author of the study. "They're looking for vacation experiences that fit their changing needs and that also fulfil their penchant for status and the personal satisfaction of real estate ownership."
